Working Out On The Go

After recently starting a new job, my schedule has changed quite a bit. Not only has my work schedule changed, but I have found it more and more difficult to take time to have a #HealthyIsHot moment each day.

I am used to my student life: waking up in the morning, eating some breakfast and then heading to the gym before starting my day. Unfortunately, like most people, that’s a luxury that isn’t possible during a busy workweek. Either you wake up before the sun to go to the gym before your morning commute to work, or you choose to work out after work when you’re exhausted. Either way… both are not ideal. But such is life.

My second job requires me to travel a lot. Travelling affects your whole body, your sleep patterns and eating habits. How do you fit working out into your schedule when you’re on the go?

It’s simple. Just do it.

Enough of my complaining, I’m here to tell you that no matter how busy your day is, no matter what is thrown at you, no matter how far you have to travel or commute every day, YOU DESERVE TO MAKE TIME FOR YOURSELF!

So here’s the deal, you adjust your workouts according to your schedule. If you know you have a busy day at work, take it easy. Kick-start your day with 20 mins of interval cardio training. If you know you have a more relaxed day, push yourself to get in a great leg workout. If you’re travelling, complete a quick 30 min full body circuit. Believe it or not, no matter how difficult it is to get moving, your body will thank you for it later.


I’m here to tell you that it’s important to workout on the go, no matter what your situation is. I am preaching this because the last two weeks I have lacked motivation to do anything. I’ve eaten like crap, skipped my workouts and been lazy all around, and guess what? I feel like sh*t.
