It’s FINALLY summer weather in good ole Canada after a long and brutally cold winter which means it’s ice cream season (insert dancing girl in red dress emoji). I’ve been recently trying really hard to decrease my dairy intake without sacrificing my fav treats after experiencing breakouts and was thrilled to come across a 4 ingredient recipe for double chocolate “nice cream”.
4 Frozen Bananas
1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
1 Cup Almond Milk
1 Cup Coconut Cream
*For topping - 1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips*
Throw the ingredients into the food processor and voila - or so I thought the first time I made this. You’re actually supposed to take the mixture from the food processor and throw it into a freezer safe container and freeze until solid but *someone* was eager to get their ice cream fix and inhaled something similar to a smoothie texture. This was the bomb dot com the first time and even better when I actually followed the instructions so I 100% recommend that you give it a shot.
