The First Ever HIH Run Club!

Hi HIH family! Chloe Wilde here. 

After two weeks on holiday in beautiful Barcelona indulging in delicious tapas and all the cocktails, it was exciting to come home and get back into a #HealthyIsHot routine and what better way than to kick off the first-ever #HIHRunClub? 

Before we dive into it, here are some of my fave pics from Spain! 


When I first moved to Toronto almost 6 years ago, it wasn’t an easy transition, I felt isolated, alone, home-sick and unsure of how to find my footing in a new concrete jungle. And then, I joined a run club; it introduced me to the tight-knit fitness community, amazing individuals I now call friends and the best part? A way to discover my new neighbourhood on foot. Truthfully, it’s been a minute since I’ve been a part of a run club but the impact it had on me is what inspired the #HIHRunClub. Plus, I’ve got a 10km in June and a half marathon in the fall that I desperately need to prep for! 


So let’s do this, let’s lace up fam! We want to celebrate the incredible HIH community we’ve built online and take it off the digital space and into the real world so we can connect face-to-face, grow as runners, train for upcoming races and take advantage of the warm weather for reasons other than patios and park hangs (although I do love both as well!). 



HIH Run Club 

When? Every Wednesday at 6:30pm

Where? Trinity Bellwoods Gates at Queen and Strachan 

Distance? 5km for all runners; beginner or advanced

Oh, I almost forgot. There are PERKS to coming week after week. Thanks to New Balance we’ve got incentives to encourage you to come out rain or shine, from now until the end of fall.
