Struggling To Lose Weight? You Need To Do This First...

Wanna know a secret? I’ve struggled with my weight for most of my life. 

I’ve tried every fad diet and weight loss trap out there. I’ve counted calories and done endless hours of cardio, only to say “fuck it” and give up completely. However, if there’s one thing I’ve learned throughout my transformation journey, it’s this: If you’re not ready to make some INSANE sacrifices to get what you want, you’re never going to change. 

It’s just that simple.

My transformation didn't come without a cost. I didn't just wake up one day, vow to change my life, and then from that moment on, everything was all sunshine and rainbows. 

I remember having to wake up 2 hours before I normally would and grind out on intense 30-45 min cardio workout before I even started my day. I had to prep, track, weigh and measure every single portion of food that I ate. I had to somehow squeeze in another strength training workout into my day - sometimes during my lunch breaks, sometimes going after work. I had to say no to TONS of opportunities that I would've loved to be a part of. I completely alienated myself from my friends and family. And I woke up sore the next day to do it alllll over again.

Every single day was a sacrifice. 

I was constantly battling between what I wanted RIGHT NOW and who I inevitably wanted to become. I was constantly choosing between the meal that was easy or the meal that was healthy, the workout that was tough and challenging, or skipping the workout altogether.

And, boy, was it ever a struggle. But throughout this journey, I learned that nothing worth having is easy. 

Did I enjoy every step of the process? Hell no. 

There were days when I felt so worthless. There were days when I wanted to just say fuck it and quit altogether. There were days when it felt like nothing I was doing was making any significant impact and I would find myself questioning whether any of this was even worth it.

But, I pushed through, I made the sacrifices, and I did the work - whether I wanted to or not. 

Because - just like a diamond is formed under pressure - you can’t transform your life without a bit of resistance.

So, if you’re REALLY ready to make a change, you absolutely need to do this first: 

Start making a few sacrifices.
