Since we were little, we’ve been told how important it is to trust our gut. Questioning a decision? What does your gut tell you? Feeling a little uneasy in a situation and not sure why? That’s your intuition letting you know something’s up.
The unfortunate part is that as much as we are told to listen to those feelings, they often get squashed by the opinions of others, work, relationships, and the list goes on. I had damn near lost mine a few years ago but after backpacking solo through Europe for a few months, with only my intuition to go off of, I quickly learned how to trust it and myself again.
