Since we were little, we’ve been told how important it is to trust our gut. Questioning a decision? What does your gut tell you? Feeling a little uneasy in a situation and not sure why? That’s your intuition letting you know something’s up.
The unfortunate part is that as much as we are told to listen to those feelings, they often get squashed by the opinions of others, work, relationships, and the list goes on. I had damn near lost mine a few years ago but after backpacking solo through Europe for a few months, with only my intuition to go off of, I quickly learned how to trust it and myself again.

I have become more and more comfortable in the last year to discuss my skincare journey, and I believe that the fact that I have sought help for my skin.
Something else I have tried to do is talk about my skin in a more positive manner, because at one point it was really affecting me negatively. I am now trying to steer away from negative words such as “skin issues” or “skin problems” because that wasn’t helping me.
