Amy is a Marketing, Communications and Web Development expert with a background and passion for health and wellness. By day, Amy is a Project Manager at a tech start-up located in Downtown Toronto, working with clients to design and develop their perfect website. Her experience also includes wearing many hats in the non-profit industry as an event planner, fundraiser, and spearheading communications initiatives at various charities, including the Jays Care Foundation at the Toronto Blue Jays.

All other times you’ll either find Amy running, training for her first full marathon in Ottawa in May, at CrossFit Firepower in Milton, trying out new workouts at studios around Toronto (her current favourite is Barry’s Bootcamp), recipe testing and tweaking recipes to make them plant-based, making daily Turmeric Latte’s and generally making a mess in the kitchen.

Amy truly believes that everyone can be the absolute best version of themselves through a balanced, nutritious diet and regular physical activity. (She also has a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario.) She passionately believes in the power of nutrition to heal and prevent disease and will be pursuing her passion this spring when she begins a two-year program to become a Certified Holistic Nutritionist at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition.

Amy recently launched her website and personal blog, The Wholeistic Way, as a way to share her passion, experience, and knowledge for everything holistic health. Her goal is to use this platform for people to follow her journey to becoming a Holistic Nutritionist, and hopefully educate others to becoming a healthier, happier version of themselves.
